Chadwick Optical built this site to provide patients with easy to follow information about vision conditions and to answer questions about all things optical. While we're constantly adding more condition and daily living specific pages, we thought it was important to include an overview of how vision works and the things that can go wrong.

That’s what ‘Foundations of Vision” is.

We’ll discuss what “perfect” vision actually means, how our eyes are meant to work together, things that can commonly go wrong with vision as well as how to think about visual impairment.

As the title suggests, we’re hoping this provides a foundation to learn more about whatever brought you to this site in the first place. If you’re unsure of where to start, this is the place.
