Chadwick Vision Clinic was started by Chadwick Optical, a specialty optical lab, to try and help patients make some sense out of their diagnosis. We’ve been in the optical game since 1980 and have seen too many people get lost post-diagnosis in that time. There is rarely a plan for them after they receive the diagnosis and the information available tends to be full of jargon and more of an anatomy lesson than anything to do with actually living with the condition.
Chadwick Optical has a reputation for being the place practitioners call when they have a complicated case because we do whatever we have to to help their patient. That pretty much makes us oddballs in this industry. We do this because we firmly believe no patient should get lost in a broken healthcare system.
That’s what this Chadwick Vision Clinic is about. We saw another way to help people. We’re hoping to provide simple information based on years of experience and a path forward for people that may be feeling overwhelmed and, perhaps, hopeless.
We are not doctors and won’t ever suggest this information can replace your practitioner. We’re people just like you that happen to know a lot about this stuff and just want to share the knowledge.
